Happy people, I really hate reporting bad news but I couldn't help this one because I am totally furious about this story.
According to reports, the community of Garjida in Gombi Local
Government Area of Adamwa State is currently under attack by the Boko Haram
sect.
DailyPost Nigeria sources say scores have been killed in the attack
which started at about 5pm.
Many residents have fled the community in attempt to save
their lives, while several others cannot be accounted for.
"Soldiers deployed around the area were said to have fled as a
result of the heavy artillery at the disposal of the terrorists" - DailyPost.
The last statement is quite ironic, wouldn’t you agree? One would
think that the soldiers would stay and combat the group and protect the
residents. But they flee instead. How can this Boko Haram have more
sophisticated weapons than the Nigerian army? I am confused. When will all these
game end? Please I hope Johnathan receives all the funds he requires to equip
the force so that they are able to face Boko Haram rather than flee the scene because this is really embarrassing.
My heart goes out to all the residents of this community.
