21 Year Old Boy Commits Suicide Over Girlfriend? For What!!!!!

OMG! I am one person that will never understand why any human would choose to take his or her life especially because of a break - up. Like seriously? Life is so sweet and beautiful why will a person want to deprive himself/ herself of that? The 21 year old handsome boy above, identified as Effiong Otu, a student of Maritime Academy Oron, decided to end his life because he was mistreated by his girlfriend. Hmmm too young to understand matters of the heart I would say. Apparently, he committed suicide to make his girlfriend happy. How his death will make his girlfriend or family members happy, I simply cannot comprehend. When someone you love hurts you, you should stay alive to show that person how much better you are without them.

If you are reading this today and you have ever contemplated such an act, please kindly reconsider. You have many reasons to live in this world and one problem should not make you forget the other amazing reasons you have to stay alive. Committing suicide is an extremely selfish act. It is selfish because you don't think about how your friends and especially family members will feel about your demise; how much they will suffer for losing you. Don't let anything or anyone take away your joy of living. Please the moment you start to have negative thoughts, try and reach out to loved ones, surround yourself with positive things and remind yourself of how much you are loved by your friends and family.
