Thank goodness! I was getting scared already about this
explosion. The explosion occurred yesterday in Creek Road, Apapa at about 8pm
and some people claimed it was a bomb explosion. However, the Lagos State
Police Command says the explosion was caused by a petrol tanker.
Ngozi Braide, the Force Public Relations officer states,
“There
is nothing whatsoever suggesting that it was a bomb explosion. It was a tanker
loaded with fuel that burst into flames. Policemen are on ground there now and
we cannot yet ascertain the casualty figures. But everything is under control”.
Ok, that is all I was interested in and I am glad this issue has been
