South Africa issues travel ban for non-citizens from Ebola-hit Guinea, Sierra Leone and Liberia

In order to reduce the spread of the deadly Ebola Virus Disease (EVD), South Africa has imposed a travel ban for non-citizens from Ebola-hit countries which include Sierra Leone, Liberia and Guinea.
If Nigeria did this earlier, we would have probably saved all the lives that we have lost so far. But what can I say? Happy people, what do you think about this ban? Remain happy and spread happiness around. Xoxo.

“A total travel ban for all non-citizens travelling from these high-risk countries (Guinea, Kenya and Sierra Leone), unless the travel is considered absolutely essential,” he said at a press conference.
“For citizens of South Africa who wish to travel to these countries, they will be requested to delay their travel unless it is absolutely essential for them to travel.”
South African citizens coming from the affected West African countries will be subjected to a strict screening process, and a medical examination if needs be, added Motsoaledi.
South African travellers will also have to complete a questionnaire before they are granted access into the country.
“If the comprehensive medical and the temperature screening reveal something, they will have to subject themselves to a complete medical examination,” said Motsoaledi.
Those coming from medium to low risk countries such as Nigeria, Kenya and Ethiopia, the normal surveillance processes will continue.
