President Goodluck Jonathan says he believes that Boko Haram
leader, Abubakar Shekau, who has been responsible for the death of thousands of
Nigerians, will be apprehended by government forces before Nigeria’s elections
starting March 28.
The President made this known in an interview with Thisday
newspaper on Friday. Responding to a question on what his government is doing
about Shekau’s threat to disrupt the elections, “God willing we will catch
Shekau before the elections,” Johnathan said.
