Local Government Area of Ebonyi has been confirmed dead after allegedly
gulping eight cans of energy drink during a bet – Vanguard reports
Mr Ebere Amarizu,
the Public Relations Officer of the Nigeria Police in Enugu State on Friday confirmed this in a press statement.
According to reports, on Dec. 11th the victim agreed to drink
eight cans of energy drink in exchange for just N1,600 during a bet.
“After taking the energy drink, he became weak and went into
coma. He was immediately rushed to a hospital in Enugu where he was confirmed
dead by a doctor.
What was he thinking? I am sure he didn’t know he would die
from that silly bet. This just goes to show how people risk their lives in this
world over money. It’s a pity and my heart goes out to his loved ones. Please happy
