University of Jos shut down indefinitely

Students of the University of Jos protested against the unreasonable hike in their fees and that has led to the university being shut down. According to the students, the fee which was N27,800 has now been increased to N60,000 and all effort by the student union government to speak with the Vice Chancellor of the university Prof. Hayward Babale Mafuyai, was unfruitful.
This means the students don’t get a chance to write their exams and that will lead to a delay in their studies. This is the same reason why Nigerians who can afford to, send their children to study abroad. What happens to people who cannot afford to study abroad? It’s unbelievable the things that happen in Nigeria. Will things ever change?
Please remain happy and spread happiness around. Xoxo
