Nigeria: Extension of state of emergency rule in Borno, Adamawa and Yobe approved by Federal Government

Happy people, I am so happy to be back to blogging again! How I have missed sharing information with you guys! Like I said, I was busy with an important chapter of my life and now that chapter is closed so I can come back to sharing any info worth sharing with you and all the gists about why I have been so busy too.
So recently, the attacks by Boko Haram on Nigerians living in the north has been on the rise and the bombings were taking place almost every day. As a result, the Federal Government has approved the extension of state of emergency rule in Borno, Adamawa and Yobe States. These are the three states that have been subjected to these attacks the most.
The decision was taken at the National Defence Council meeting presided over by President Jonathan earlier today at the presidential villa Abuja.
The Attorney-General of the Federation and Minister of Justice, Mr. Muhammed Adoke told newsmen that the decision of the council will be communicated to the National Assembly for approval.
It would be recalled that the first state of Emergency rule was earlier imposed on the states in May 2013 and has since been extended twice.
Well, I hope that this will restore peace in the region and entire Nigeria soon.
Please remain happy and spread happiness around. Xoxo
