Xenophobia SA: How foreigners are protected by South African Police [photo]

This are the same people that have been commissioned to protect the lives and properties of foreigners. How can they even do that if some of them are against foreigners as well? So it's not about blaming this on uneducated criminals in the townships, the problem is deeply rooted everywhere. I once witnessed a black policeman in Cape Town brutally assault a motorist just because he was a foreigner and the officer kept screaming, "You must go back to your country" while assaulting the man. This happened way before this season of Xenophobic attacks. Xenophobia seems to the norm in South Africa and I see this every day!!! It's a big shame. My heart goes out to all those affected by this cruelty. Please stay happy. Xoxo
