Nigeria’s ability to contain the deadly Ebola virus has been
greatly commended by the international community. The United
States’ Center for Disease Control and Prevention has sent medical experts to
Nigeria to learn how Nigeria was able to contain its Ebola outbreak.
This decision was made in effort to contain the virus, after a Liberian man got to the
US few days ago with the deadly disease. The officials will also visit Senegal
to study its containment model.
Ok, I must say, I am happy that Nigerian authorities won the
fight against the outbreak of this deadly disease in Nigeria. Their efforts
deserve commendation. I hope they can also do the same with Boko Haram. I am
just saying!
